1. IntroductionWelcome to WealthWeaver (the "App"), operated by ThEnoch LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in an open and transparent manner.Please read this privacy policy carefully. 2. Information We CollectWe may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the App includes:Personal Data You Provide to Us:  * Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect information such as your name (optional), email address, and password to create and manage your account.
  * User Content: Information you provide when you edit transaction details, create custom categories, or add notes within the App.
  * Communications: If you contact us directly for support or other inquiries, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.Financial Information via Plaid:  * To provide the core functionality of the App (linking bank accounts, tracking transactions, calculating net worth), we use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to gather your data from financial institutions.
  * When you use Plaid through our App to link your financial accounts, you are providing your login credentials directly to Plaid, governed by Plaid's own Privacy Policy. WealthWeaver does not see, store, or have access to your financial institution login credentials.
  * We receive information from Plaid related to your connected accounts, such as:
  * Account information (institution name, account name, account type, account number mask).
  * Account balances (current and available).
  * Transaction history (dates, amounts, merchant names, categories provided by the institution/Plaid).
  * By using our App and connecting your accounts via Plaid, you acknowledge and agree that Plaid will collect and handle your information according to their privacy policy, which you can review here: https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policyInformation Collected Automatically:  * Usage Data: We automatically collect information about your interactions with the App, such as the features you use, pages viewed, actions taken, dates and times of access, and frequency of use.
  * Device Data: We collect information about the mobile device you use to access the App, including the device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and IP address.
  * Crash and Performance Data: We may use third-party services (like Firebase Crashlytics) to collect data about crashes and performance issues to help us improve the App's stability and performance. This data is often aggregated and anonymized.


3. How We Use Your InformationWe use the information we collect, including information obtained via Plaid, for various purposes, including:  * To operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the App (e.g., display transactions, calculate net worth, track spending).
  * To create and manage your account.
  * To personalize your experience within the App (e.g., remembering categories).
  * To communicate with you, including responding to your comments, questions, and support requests; providing technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
  * To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our App to improve the App and develop new features.
  * To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, security incidents, and other illegal activities.
  * To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.


4. How We Share Your InformationWe do not sell your personal information. We may share information we collect under the following circumstances:  * With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase), crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics), and customer support tools. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide these services to us and are obligated to protect your information.
  * With Plaid: We share information with Plaid as necessary to maintain your account connections and facilitate the data transfer you initiated.
  * For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App, protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public, or protect against legal liability.
  * Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice within the App of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.
  * With Your Consent: We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.


5. Data SecurityWe implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. We use measures like encryption (both in transit and at rest where appropriate) and access controls. However, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.


6. Data RetentionWe retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete your information, subject to necessary retention for legal or operational purposes (e.g., backup archives, compliance). Information held by Plaid is subject to Plaid's retention policies.


7. Your Data Rights and Choices  * Account Information: You may review and update your account information (like email or password) at any time through your account settings in the App.
  * Managing Plaid Connections: You can view and manage the financial accounts you have connected through Plaid via the Plaid Portal: https://my.plaid.com/
  * Data Access, Correction, Deletion: Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR/CCPA rights), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us. Please contact us at [email protected] to make such requests. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable laws.
  * Closing Your Account: You can close your account through the App settings or by contacting us. This will stop future data collection and initiate the deletion process as described in Data Retention.
  * Push Notifications: You may opt-out of receiving push notifications by changing the settings on your mobile device.


8. Children's PrivacyThe App is not intended for or directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.


9. Third-Party Links and ServicesThe App relies on Plaid for financial data aggregation. Your use of Plaid is subject to Plaid's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Plaid or other third parties.


10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account), through the App, or by means of a notice within the App prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the terms.
